Swim Palk Strait
Palk Strait is a strait between the Tamil Nadu state of India and the Mannar district of the Northern Province of Sri Lanka.It connects the Bay of Bengal in the northeast with Palk Bay in the southwest. With a minimum depth of less than 9.1 m, it is 40 to 85 miles wide and 85 miles long.
“By finishing the complete Palk Strait stretch of 29km in nine hours, 28 minutes and seven seconds, Alamkruthi and Spandana became the fastest to do so in the world,” he said. The swimmers have been trained by adventurous swimmer Tulasi Chaitanya, a head constable working in Vijayawada.

Palk Strait is an area of the Bay of Bengal located between India and Sri Lanka. It is an important passage for ships and has been home to a variety of events over the years. The most recent event was the Palk Strait International Marine Festival, which was held from November 5-10, 2018. The event featured a variety of activities such as sailing, fishing, water sports, and beach activities. The festival was organized by the Palk Strait Marine Conservation Society in association with the government of Tamil Nadu. The main aim of the event was to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development in the region. Other events that have been held in the Palk Strait include the Palk Strait International Film Festival and the Palk Strait International Music Festival.
